The course is open to graduates holding at least a Second Class Honours Degree in Physics, Geophysics, Geology or any other physical sciences (with Mathematics, Physics, Geology as ancillary subject). Candidates with at least 3 years of industrial experience in geophysics and having some minimum qualification may be considered in special cases.
The assessment shall be through course examination, field work report and dissertation
The candidates shall be required to satisfy the examiners in each of the required courses as well as submit a thesis-based research and to defend it in an oral examination.
